Help us keep SWAPA running
SWAPA is full of child-led play, creativity, outdoor adventures, community events and, unsurprisingly, a fair bit of joyful mess.
Behind the scenes, there is always plenty to sort, fix, clean, organise and keep ticking along. From tidying resources to maintaining the site, preparing for events, supporting activities and helping us care for the playground, every bit of help makes a real difference.
Share your skills
Do you have a skill that could help our small charity?
We would love to hear from electricians, plumbers, boiler engineers, locksmiths, carpenters, builders, decorators, graffiti artists, accountants, social media whizzes, fundraising heroes, or anyone else with useful know-how they might be happy to share.
Whether it is a one-off job, occasional advice, or being someone we can call on when we need help, your support could make a big difference to what we are able to do.
Volunteer your time
Maybe you are local and have a bit of time during the week to help us stay on top of the playground. This might include cleaning, tidying, sorting resources, organising materials, or helping us get ready for busy sessions.
You could also volunteer at our four community open days each year, helping with things like preparing and serving food, welcoming families, supporting playworkers to get activities going, and clearing up afterwards.
You do not need to commit to loads of time. Big skills, small jobs, regular support, occasional help: it all helps keep SWAPA open, welcoming and full of play.
